Our Rum Cake, rich and buttery, moist crumb with a pronounced warmth from the rum.  Using 100-proof rum intensifies the flavor and aroma, giving the cake a bold kick.  The rum infuses both the batter and the syrup glaze, offering layers of flavor-notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice. 

Traditionally, it's a pound-cake-style texture- dense but soft and soaked with a rum-butter glaze after baking.  The outside forms a thin, sugary crust that locks in the syrup.  Have your choice of "drunken nuts" - rum soaked walnuts that have been marinating for at least 30 days or regular nuts - walnuts that have soaked for less than 2 weeks.
